Product Review The Sanyo SCP 5150 phone offers plenty of great features including picture ID, voice-activated dialing, Internet access, text messaging, and a nutty-sounding game called Crab Catcher, all displayed on a 120 x 128, 256-color backlit LCD screen. For calling, the Sanyo SCP 5150 provides a dedicated voice mail button and picture caller ID, plus call timers, redial, missed call indicator, call log, voice activated dialing, any-key answer, auto-answer, auto-redial, dual-tone multi frequency, roaming indicator, speed dial, linked (credit card) dialing, phonebook look-up, phonebook scroll, mute control, no-answer transfer, one-touch 911, usage alert, differential ring and a phone book capacity of 300 entries. For self-organization, you'll get a 100 event calendar, a calculator and alarm, and a 20-item to-do list. You can also load your info onto your PC so you're in sync on both machines. So you won't forget to sync up, you can leave a memo to yourself with either the scratch pad function or a voice memo. When you get online, you can enjoy 2-way text messaging with T9 predictive text assistance, plus access to the wireless Internet via the built-in OpenWave 4.1.24f software, which supports simple and complex ring tone download and more.
